Data Scientist · Data Engineer · MLOps
I build machine learning models and the data pipelines that take them to production, on a solid electronic-engineering foundation.
I'm a data scientist and electronic engineer, with a postgraduate specialization in artificial intelligence. My work combines data analysis, statistical modeling and software development.
I develop machine learning and deep learning models to optimize processes and support decision-making, and I handle the full flow, from preparing the data to the model in production. I work independently and within cross-disciplinary teams, turning business problems into technical solutions.
I approach problems with an engineering mindset: I structure what's complex, base decisions on data, and validate each step before taking it as final. I write clear, maintainable code, and I would rather deliver reliable results than rushed conclusions.
I work fluently in Spanish and English, have an intermediate level of French, and I'm studying Japanese. My experience spans different fields of engineering and development, which gives me a broad perspective when tackling new problems. I want to join teams where technical rigor and quality come first.
Analytics Solvers
I apply survival analysis (Kaplan-Meier), deep learning, clustering and regression to historical operational data to optimize repair and production decisions across oil wells. I build and maintain the data pipelines that feed the models, from cleaning and transformation to feature engineering, and I track the model lifecycle with MLflow and CI/CD. I built a TensorFlow model that predicts a well's production from water-injection patterns across a network of thousands of wells, and exposed the results to the engineering teams through an LLM-powered chatbot so they can query them in plain language.
AferIT
I install, configure and maintain Linux servers across several distributions, manage cloud applications on GCP and AWS, and automate recurring operations with shell scripts and Docker. On top of that infrastructure I develop the company's generative AI and document-intelligence projects. I built a multilingual ingestion service that extracts structured data from PDF, scanned documents and HTML using pdfplumber, PyMuPDF and Tesseract OCR, with a validation step that catches recognition errors before the data is used. I also built a system that translates incoming ship messages, stores them, and shows each operator the related past messages through a RAG approach over the message history.
National Space Activities Commission (CONAE)
At Argentina's National Space Activities Commission I processed large volumes of radar data and built data-visualization interfaces and automated test suites for antenna and radar measurement campaigns. I wrote low-level processing routines and result-validation procedures in Python, SQL and C++, within a multidisciplinary engineering team and with frequent travel to facilities in another city. I gained hands-on experience with radar systems and phased-array antennas, which connected directly to my graduate thesis research.
AferIT
I built web applications and REST APIs with JavaScript, TypeScript, Node.js and PostgreSQL, and worked with MongoDB and React across several projects, applying object-oriented design and Git-based collaboration. I took part in the full development cycle, from requirements gathering to deployment, following agile methodologies. This role gave me a solid foundation in software engineering that I still apply when working with large volumes of data.
Faculty of Engineering, University of Buenos Aires
I led weekly practical sessions for engineering students on Fourier and Laplace transforms, partial differential equations, complex variables and improper integrals. I taught students how to solve the problems from the exercise set through step-by-step analytical reasoning rather than formula memorization. Working directly with students on problem-solving sharpened my ability to explain technical material clearly and adapt to different learning styles.
